Rope Rescue Gear & PPE for TR Search & Rescue

TRCF provides grants to Tumbler Ridge search and rescue to assist with the purchase of rope rescue equipment and PPE.

Dear Tumbler Ridge Community Forest,

The Tumbler Ridge Search and Rescue (TRSAR) Society members would like to express their sincere appreciations for the two Grants we have received from your Society since late 2015. Our mission as a volunteer organization is to provide land and inland water search and rescue services when required. Without donors such as yourself this would not be possible to achieve.

The Grants have gone towards the purchase of Rope Rescue Gear for our team to be able to respond appropriately to any Low or High Angle Rescues, PPE for the team to maintain safety including the Arcteryx Jackets seen around town and helmet, as well as smaller operational items. This money has allowed us to continue to grow into a dependable response unit that the entire Tumbler Ridge area needs.

As an additional thanks we would like to show our appreciation by adding you Society’s Logo to the side of our Response Trailer to show who has supported us when on task or training. If you could send your Logo to our Society, we will have the sticker made up for the trailer. We will also spread the word to other groups within the SAR community of your funding.
